If you have a brand or product you’re looking to get in front of a wider audience, this course will guide you through the development of a successful marketing and sales plan, and answer all your questions about customer and solution profiles: aka what they are and how you can best optimize them.

This 4-part module starts on the day you purchase, with videos and worksheets released every 7 days following. Once modules are released, you can access them at any time for as long as SCHOOL is online and do the course at your own pace.


MODULE 1

Customer Profiles
  • Mary's story: Mary Young, the founder of her eponymous lingerie line, walks us through her brand’s journey and how she was able to implement customer profiles to elevate and grow her business.
  • The 411 on Customer Profiles: Developing a Customer Profile will help you sell your product. If you don’t know who your customer is, what they’re looking for, and how they shop, how do you expect to sell anything?
  • Why Customer Profiles Are Important: If you can think, act, and move through a purchase like your target customer, you will be able to identify (and resolve) any threats that might hinder them from completing their purchase.

MODULE 2

Implementing the Customer Profile
  • Target Segment & Demographic and Business Drivers: Mary will help you define your target and secondary markets by using demographics and business drivers that influence product desirability. IE: What compels someone to purchase your product? Is it an emotional decision? If so, how can you connect with that?
  • Product Offering, Fears and Concerns and Barriers to Communication: Dive into your unique value proposition and learn how to deeply resonate with your customers. This formula will help elevate your brand.

MODULE 3

Solution Profiles to sell directly to customers
  • The 411 on Solution Profiles: Mary will help you define your target and secondary markets by using demographics and business drivers that influence product desirability. IE: What compels someone to purchase your product? Is it an emotional decision? If so, how can you connect with that?
  • Step-by-Step Solution Profile Creation: Mary will walk you through how you can create a solution profile to increase the desirability of your brand/product.

MODULE 4

Solution Profile for selling to retailers
  • Why do I need a solution profile for retailers?: Your solution profile may be slightly different depending on what channel you are selling through, so in this video, you will learn how to create a solution profile that gets your product into the hands of retailers.
  • Step-by-Step Solution Profile Creation for Retailers: Mary will walk you through how you can create or adapt your solution profile to sell to your target retailers.
